He was born in Volos, Greece on the 25th of March 1988. His height is 1.71m and weight 79kg.

He has won over 80 Greek Championship medals and  he has set 10 national records. Through his distinctions he has achieved to be ranked at the 1st place of the UCI World Rankings in the Scratch Race event and 3rd place at the Omnium event.

2005:

  • 1st place at the keirin race event of the Juniors’s World Championship at Vienna, Austria
  • 2nd place at the keirin race event of the Junior’s European Championship in Fiorenzuola d’Arda, Italy

2006:

  • 1st place at the UCI World Rankings at the keirin race event
  • 2nd place at the Team Sprint race event of the Junior’s European Championship in Athens, Greece
  • 3rd place at the Team Sprint race event of the U23 World Championship in Ghent, Belgium

2008:

  • 2nd place at the keirin race event of the Men’s Elite World Cup in Los Angeles, USA
  • 3rd place at the keirin race event of the Men’s Elite World Championship in Manchester, England
  • 12th place at the Olympic Games of Beijing, China

2009:

  • 1st place at the keirin race event of the Men’s Elite European Cup in Moscow, Russia
  • 2nd place at the keirin race event of the Men’s Elite World Cup in Manchester, England
  • 3rd place at the keirin race event of the Men’s Elite European Championship in Minsk, Belarus
  • 3rd place at the keirin race event of the Men’s Elite European Cup in Cottbus, Germany

2017:

He decided to change his focus from Keirin, the race event through which he achieved so many distinctions, and focus on the Omnium, Points Race, Scratch and Madison, of the endurance events.

2019:

  • 1st place at the scratch event and 4th place at the Omnium event at the World Cup in New Zealand
  • With the completion of the 6th World Cup in Hong Kong, the athlete became World Cup Champion for the 2018-2019 season in the Omnium event
  • 4th place at the scratch event of the World Championship in Poland
  • 1st place at the Omnium discipline of the Greek Championship
  • 1st place at the points race and scratch race disciplines of the 2nd European Games at Minsk
